Pandemic Update

Recently we have seen a rise in Covid cases across the state. Even here at Empower Cherokee we have seen staff and individuals getting positive test results for Covid, even though they have been vaccinated and received their boosters. We have put extra precautions in place during this time. All individuals will be separated out to allow for better social distancing. Staff are required to wear their mask at all time, and increase sanitizing and cleaning. We have also asked visitors and vendors not to come the month of January and let us evaluate the situation in February. We are asking all caretakers and families to please keep your individual at home if they are not feeling well. We have noticed that this time people are testing positive with just headaches, fatigue, sore throats and sinus issues. We continue to do temperature checks, but that is not always reliable. Please stay safe and lets work together through this rough time.
