Hello Empower Cherokee Family!!!
I am so excited to share with you two opportunities for participants and their loved ones to connect while keeping a physical distance. lt is so important for our mental health to stay connected even when we can't share space. Humans need interaction with other humans. we are so excited to be able to maintain those connections in the following ways.

Music Therapy
Starting Tuesday, April 7th at 10:00 AM, Empower Cherokee in Partnership with InHarmony Music Therapy will be offering twice-weekly music therapy classes.
The classes will be Tuesdays at 10:30 and Wednesdays at 4:00. We will be on Zoom at 10:00 am for the first class to help everyone get online and learn about using Zoom.

Empower Cherokee Virtual Social
Join Us for our first-ever Empower Cherokee Online Virtual Social. All Empower Cherokee Staff, participants, and members of your household are invited to join us via Zoom every Thursday from 11:00 - 12:00 for a social hangout.
I will be on at 10:30 to help with getting onto Zoom if needed.
There is no planned agenda for this time together. it is purely a chance to see your friends and acquaintances and socialize.
